Paul Bissonnette was born in 1985 in Welland, Ontario, Canada, he is a son of Yolande Bissonnette and Cam Bissonnette. Paul’s father was working in a steel company and his mother was an office administration professor at Niagara College.

Paul was studying in Local high school of Welland, he also attends a French-speaking school up to 7th grade. When he was in High School, he was playing Hockey for his school team as a captain of the team.

Career

Paul was selected for the Ontario Hockey League when he was only sixteen years old. He was playing as a rookie in the first 57 games and scoring three assists and three goals. After that, he was named for co-captain on the sprit and become the Canadas under 18 team members.

In 2003 he was selected in NHL Entry Draft by Pittsburgh Penguins, he was served as the sprit captain and collect nine-point. Before being traded to the Owen Sound Attack, he also playing a half-season with the spirit.

In 2005 Paul started his professional career with the team of Wheeling Nailer on the ECHL league. He was recalled by the Penguins in the 2007-09 season where he became the most popular player of Hockey.

In 2009 Paul was signed a contract with Arizona Coyotes and playing his first match against the Jody Shelley. He has again signed a two-year contract with the team in 2011. In 2013 Bissonnette left the team and signed a contract with Tryout but after only 8 matches he was released by the team.

In 2015 he was signed a contract with Manchester Monarchs and he was entering the team as a replacement of Ontario Reign. During this season he was playing 35 games for the team.

In 2017 he has confirmed his retirement from professional hockey in his social media account. After that, he was joined Coyotes Radio as a commentator and he was announced, that he becomes a new member of the Barstool Sports Hockey podcast.

Paul also created a mockumentary series with Pasha Eshghi called Biz Nasty Does BC. It is the show of the beauty of the province with 17 NHL stars, the series was released on 14 May 2018.
